Our journey started almost 70 years ago as JH Minet Company. In 1997 Aon, the leading global provider of risk management, human resource consulting and outsourcing, acquired the U.K. shareholder, London Minet, as part of their African expansion strategy. As a result, the company became Aon Minet, and subsequently Aon. In 2017 private equity firm Capitalworks acquired Aon’s shareholding in several African operations, alongside local shareholders including governments in many markets, which has created what is now Aon’s largest Global Network Correspondent.

LEADERSHIP

Retselisitsoe Leboela
Chief Executive Officer

Retselisitsoe Leboela is Chief Executive Officer at Minet Lesotho. Previously Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Aon Lesotho, Retselisitsoe has been in the insurance industry for 23 years. He holds a BCom degree in accounting, obtained from the National University of Lesotho in 1994, and is a Licentiate of the Insurance Institute of South Africa.

Mantai Moteka
Senior Account Executive

Mantai Moteka is Senior Account Executive at Minet Lesotho. Mantai has 10 years of diversified experience in Sales and Marketing across various industries including Banking, Real Estate, and Diplomatic Missions. She holds an Associate Degree in Business Management, a Certificate in Business Development Management, and a Certificate in Business Studies.

Maphano Matsoso
Client Relationship and Claims Manager

Maphano Matsoso is Client Relationship and Claims Manager at Minet Lesotho. Maphano was previously Claims Manager and Legal Advisor at Aon Lesotho and has 19 years of experience in the insurance sector, particularly in claims handling. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in law from the University of Lesotho while pursuing a Master’s in Corporate Law at UNISA.

Lintle Khaebana
Short Term Service Manager

Lintle Khaebana is Short-Term Service Manager at Minet Lesotho. Formally Short-Term Service manager at AON Lesotho, Lintle has been in the insurance sector for over a decade. She is an alumnus of UNISA where she studied risk Management as well as Insurance and is furthermore a fellow member of the Insurance Institute of Africa.

Mathabo Molapo (Sethojane)
Commercial and Personal Line Manager

Mathabo Molapo is Commercial and Personal Line Manager at Minet Lesotho. Mathabo rose through the ranks since joining the organisation in 2007 to the current position of Commercial and Personal Line Manager. She is a holder of a BCom degree from Amity University and currently studying towards an MBA qualification. She has an insurance professional qualification from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and is affiliated with the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) at an Associate level.

Motselisi Khutsoane
Senior Human Resources Officer

Motselisi Khutsoane is Senior Human Resources Officer at Minet Lesotho. She joined the company as an Employee Benefits Consultant and has more than 10 years of working experience across various sectors. Before joining Minet Lesotho she served as an Industrial Relations and Human Resources Manager at Security Unlimited. She holds a Degree in Bachelor of Laws and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, both obtained from the National University of Lesotho.

Potso Sebele
Employee Benefits Manager

Potso is Employee Benefits Manager at Minet Lesotho. Potso is an experienced investment professional who joined Minet in May 2021 to accelerate the Investment Consulting business within the employee benefits division. Before joining Minet, Potso spent 3 years as an Equity Analyst at Avior Capital Markets in Johannesburg, where he specialized in advising Institutional Asset Managers on the best investment ideas listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and Global Exchanges. Potso holds a BCom degree in Investment Management from the University of Pretoria (UP), an Honour’s degree from the University of Cape Town (UCT), a Master in Investments and Finance from Wits Business School (WBS), a COB certificate in Long Term Insurance from Milpark, and is pursuing an MBA with GIBS.

Lehlomela Mokhati
CFO / COO

Lehlomela Mokhati is Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operating Officer at Minet Lesotho. Lehlomela is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Professional Internal Auditor (PIA designate), and a member of the Lesotho Institute of Accountants (LIA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) SA with more than 15 years of experience in the Accounting and Audit Profession and the Financial Services Industry. His experience stems from working in diverse areas including External and Internal Auditing, Regulatory Reporting, Treasury, Risk and Compliance, and Financial & Management Accounting. Before joining Minet Lesotho, he served as a Country Finance Manager at Letshego Financial Services Lesotho and Stanlib Lesotho and he has also worked for several local banks. Lehlomela possesses a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UFS Business School.

Duncan Otiti
Chief Broking Officer

Duncan Otiti is Chief Broking Officer at Minet Lesotho, responsible for all Technical Matters, Product Innovation & Enhancement, and Management of all Risk Advisory and Claims Advocacy. Duncan`s Insurance Broking and Consulting experience spans many years, having joined (AON Kenya) Minet Kenya as a Graduate Management Trainee (GMT). He rose through the ranks to become an Account Manager and thereafter a Senior Account Manager, a position he held before joining Minet Lesotho in October 2022. He has vast experience serving both multinational & local clients as well as insurers. Duncan is a member of the Insurance Institute of Kenya and is a Bsc. Biochemistry graduate from the Kenyatta University. He is currently pursuing an MBA in Strategic Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Thesis – Effects of Innovation on growth of Insurance Brokers) and is on course to achieve an Advanced Diploma in insurance from the Chartered Institute of Insurance UK.
