Maurice Amogola

Maurice Amogola
Chief Executive Officer

Maurice Amogola is Chief Executive Officer of Minet Uganda. He previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Aon Uganda, a company he joined in 2003 as a Client Service Manager and in which he rapidly rose up the ranks. Maurice has worked in the insurance industry for more than 30 years, in both Uganda and Kenya. He is an Associate of the UK-based Chartered Insurance Institute as well as the Uganda Insurance Institute.

Winnie Kiwuwa

Chief Operations Officer

Winnie Kiwuwa is Chief Operations Officer for Minet Uganda. Her previous position was Chief Operations Officer at Aon Uganda, a company she joined as an Account Handler in 1998. A team player with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring clients receive top-quality service, Winnie holds a BA Arts degree from Makerere University in Uganda and a Higher Diploma of Financial Services-Risk Management through the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, of which she is a Senior Associate. She is also a member of the Insurance Institute of Uganda.

Ephantus Githinji

Ephantus Githinji
Chief Financial Controller

Ephantus Wanjohi Githinji is Chief Financial Controller for Minet Uganda. Previously Chief Financial Controller at Aon Uganda, Ephantus has more than 25 years of experience in accountancy and auditing across both Kenya and Uganda, 20 of which were in leadership positions. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the United States International University–Africa and a Certified Public Accountant qualification from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of both Kenya and Uganda.

Caroline Athiyo

Caroline Athiyo
Director of Marketing and Business Development

Caroline Athiyo is Director of Marketing and Business Development for Minet Uganda. Previously she held the role of Director: Mining, Construction and Energy at Aon Uganda and supported the East Africa region with regards to the oil and gas sector. She spent 17 years at Aon, fulfilling a variety of roles as she rose up the ranks. Caroline has more than 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry and is a Senior Associate in Insurance and Risk Management, from the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
